Hello and welcome! I’m Karla, and I’m so happy that you’re here!
I pour my heart into creating unique jewelry and trinkets from vintage silverware. Each piece I craft is truly one-of-a-kind, carrying its own special story and unique marks that add an extra layer of meaning.
I have a soft spot for silver plate. It's stunning shine not only captivates the eye but also keeps my creations affordable. While I do occasionally incorporate other metals like stainless steel, I must admit they can be quite challenging for both my tools and my hands!
Let me share a bit about myself: I am a Midwest girl and I call Wisconsin home. I’ve dedicated over 33 years to the medical field, primarily in surgery. Since jewelry isn’t an option in the operating room, I found a creative outlet for my passion for rings. My journey began when I stumbled upon my very first spoon ring at a farmer's market; it’s still a cherished piece that I wear proudly! This discovery ignited a drive in me to teach myself the art of crafting beautiful spoon ring jewelry. I’ve immersed myself in studying techniques, watching videos, and reading books. While there's always more to learn, my love for this craft continues to flourish!
When I’m not busy creating, you’ll find me enjoying precious moments with my adult son, friends, family, and my lovable huskies. Those times are what I cherish the most!
